We’re delighted to announce that the Teatowel Collective are back at Levenshulme Old Library this month, and they’re bringing friends along for what promises to be a brilliant evening of live music.
It’s been a while since their last show at LOL, but this early-evening, family-friendly gig is the perfect way to welcome them home. More importantly, it’s also a fundraiser for Levenshulme Old Library. Every penny raised on the night will go directly towards supporting the building and our year-round community arts programme.
This is more than a gig — it’s an opportunity to come together as neighbours, friends and music lovers to support a community-led space that belongs to all of us.
Here’s who’s playing:
- Eyam (@eyammusic) – Manchester-based indie-folk musician and songwriter. Drawing on influences from Joanna Newsom, Neutral Milk Hotel, Fleet Foxes, and Two Gallants, as well as romantic classical composers, Eyam’s music explores themes of yearning, love, obsession, grief, fear, nature, and time.
- Indefinite Articles (@indefinite_articles) – songs about municipal socialism, media literacy and Coronation Street storylines, occasionally described as “too short,” but always sharp, witty and memorable.
- Teatowel Collective (@TeaTowelCollective) – local favourites whose harmony-soaked alternative indie-folk songs mix humour, sincerity and resilience, sung straight from the heart.
