We were delighted to host a live broadcast of BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions? last week – one of UK’s longest-running and best-loved political debate programmes.
The show was broadcast from our main space in front of a packed audience, with presenter James Cook chairing a lively and thoughtful discussion featuring UK Work and Pensions Minister Alison McGovern, along with Lord Willetts, Enver Solomon and Reem Ibrahim.
It was a packed night and a great discussion – we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came along, to our brilliant team of volunteers who helped on the night and to the BBC team for being such a pleasure to work with.
We also used the opportunity to support a local photography student, Reece Dale, who joined us on the night to gain some experience documenting live events.
If you missed the broadcast, you can still catch up via BBC Sounds.
